IGRSUP: Stamp and Registration Department is the official portal of Uttar Pradesh state government (igrsup.gov.in) which has been established by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The aim of this IGRSUPĀ portal is to provide online registration services of property and marriage in the state. With the help of this portal, now the process of registration for property and marriage registration for newly married couples have become much easier.

IGRSUP Overview.
The Stamp and Registration Department is a significant branch of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The portal is mainly created for the services which are listed below:
- Property registration.
- Marriage registration.
- Debt-free certificate/ Barah Sala.
- Duplicate documents of the property.
Registration Act 1908, Hindu Marriage Act 1955 and the Indian Stamp Act 1899, these are the three main acts which are used by the Stamp and Registration Department for the work. The department uses the Registration Act to execute the registry of documents. This department also preserves the registry of documents and makes it available to the court or the general public. This department also collects the stamp duties under the Indian Stamp Act. which are payable on the documents. The revenue generated by the stamp duty is one of the major sources of income for Uttar Pradesh’s state government.

List of Facilities provided by the IGRSUP department to the general public of Uttar Pradesh state.
- Registration of documents submitted in the Deputy Registrar Offices by the general public.
- Indexing of registered documents in Deputy Registrar Offices. In the indexing sub-registrar offices, the name-wise and field-wise lists of the property of the parties of the document are prepared and made available for public use.
- Make a certified copy of the documents and make it available to the court and the public.
- Exemption certificate – Concerning any immovable property in the past years, if any transaction has been registered among the general public or if a mortgage of the property has been registered, then the relevant certificate can be obtained from the Deputy Registrar Office.
- Hindu Marriage Registration -The registration of Hindu marriages are done by the Deputy Registrar Offices under the provisions of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. At present, the process of online Hindu marriage registration has been established by the IGRSUP department in the Deputy Registrar Offices of the state.
- The verified copies of agricultural land sales letters or donation letters are made available by the Deputy Registrar Offices to the Revenue Office of the concerned Tehsil for filing and dismissal.
- When the will of the public is submitted by the District Registration Offices then it will be preserved by the department.
- If an executor is unable to visit the Deputy Registrar’s office due to illness or old age etc., for the presentation of his document or to accept the execution of the document, then in such a case, if the office makes an application with proof in this regard, the process of submission and acceptance of execution of the document will be done at the place of executor.

Using the IGRSUP portal people can avail the services related to property registration of Uttar Pradesh state. People can avail the following mentioned services.

The new property registration process on the IGRSUP portal.

- Then the new portal will open for the registration. Click on “ą¤Øą¤µą„ą¤Ø ą¤ą¤µą„दन” for new registration.
- Then on the next page “Property Registration-New Applicant” tab will open. In that form fill the information such as Districts, Tehsil, Sub-registrar, Mobile Number, and password then click on “Sign In”. - Now the property registration application form will open in front of you on the computer screen. Here you have to enter all the information asked and click on the “Proceed” option.
- After checking all the information you have entered in the application form, then click on “Save”. You will receive the application number in case your application form is successfully secured.

Property registration – Eligibility criteria and necessary documents.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Necessary Documents:
- Identity card of the beneficiary who sold and purchased the property.
- Residence certificate.
- Identity card of witnesses.
- Copy of application.
- Land/Property Documents.
- Passport size photo.
How to apply for Industrial Property Registration?

- After clicking on that link it will redirect to the Nivesh Mitra website i.e., niveshmitra.up.nic.in.
- On the Nivesh Mitra website, you find login and registration options. If you have registered earlier then log in using the old credentials otherwise click on “Register Here”.
- After clicking on “Register Here”, Entrepreneur Registration portal will open. Fill the information and register.
- After registration go to the Nivesh Mitra website i.e., niveshmitra.up.nic.in, and log in to the portal.

How to make an appointment for Uttar Pradesh property registration?
Follow the below-mentioned steps to get an appointment if you have registered the property online earlier on the IGRSUP portal i.e, igrsup.gov.in.
